Experience the finest game viewing in three of Kenya's iconic safari areas: Amboseli National Park, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy and Masai Mara Game Reserve, while enjoying five-star hospitality in the heart of the bush at luxurious tented safari camps.
Day by day itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival + Overnight, Nairobi
After arriving at the airport in Kenya's capital city, Nairobi, guests will be transferred by road to Fairmont the Norfolk Hotel, which is one of Kenya's finest hotels set in its own tranquil and private gardens, only a short distance from the city centre.
All 165 rooms at Fairmont The Norfolk hotel are luxuriously furnished and have plush carpeting with deep, velour soft furnishings. A variety of activities are available in the area to keep children and guests entertained including a visit to the Elephant Orphanage, Karen Blixen Museum, Daphne Sheldrick Animal Orphanage, The Matbronze Art Gallery and Foundry, Kazuri Beads, and Nairobi National Park.
Stay: The Fairmont Norfolk
Days 2 - Amboseli National Park
Drive from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park and your tented safari camp beneath Mount Kilimanjaro. The elephant population is prolific here. Amid acacia woodland, scrub brush, freshwater swamps and open plains, watch for buffalo, hippos and waterfowl.
Stay: Kibo Safari Camp
Days 3 - Amboseli National Park
Embark on exciting morning and afternoon game drives, keeping watch for lions and cheetahs as they prepare to hunt. Then, from atop the perch of prehistoric Observation Hill, witness the grasslands and mighty mountain shift colors at sunset.
Stay: Kibo Safari Camp
Days 4 to 5 - Lewa Wildlife Conservancy
Board a flight to the Laikipia Plateau and continue to your private wildlife conservancy. On arrival, you will be transferred to Dirikoi Camp, settle in, and then take to the bush for an afternoon game drive. The next day, enjoy a morning game drive highlighted by an up-close visit with the world’s last three northern white rhinos in their heavily guarded enclosure. This afternoon, set out on a bush walk, perhaps sighting a reticulated giraffe or Besia oryx. Optional activities (each at an additional cost) include a visit with the conservancy’s anti-poaching dog unit and a night game drive.
Stay: Sirikoi Camp
Day 6 to 8 - Masai Mara Game Reserve
Spend three full days exploring the open savanna, woodlands and tree-fringed rivers of the Masai Mara, where patience is rewarded with unique sightings: leopards, who retrieve kills from acacia branches high above, or elephants protecting their young from opportunistic lions. Game viewing is never dull in the Mara, especially when the dramatic annual Great Migration unfolds. Amid the stunning scenery, watch as Maasai tribesmen traverse the plains or herd goats and cattle. During one of your mornings here, enjoy another opportunity for an optional hot air balloon ride over the sprawling Mara.
Stay: Angama Mara Luxury Camp
Day 9 - Depart, Nairobi
On the final day of your Premier Safari there will be time for a leisurely breakfast before your flight to Nairobi, Wilson Airport for your onward travel arrangements.
